2025 Beekeepers Course

 Welcome to the 2025 PEIBA “Introduction to Beekeeping” course

We are now accepting registrations for our upcoming 2025 winter “Introduction to Beekeeping” course.

It will consist of the following

• 8 sessions approx 1.5 to 2 hours long over 8 weeks – 16 hours of instruction
• 2 trips to an apiary where you’ll learn how to do inspections, search for pests and diseases and learn about preparing for winter
• sessions will be a mixture of online via zoom and in person workshops and will be weekly

Course will start Tuesday January 7th and run weekly for 8 weeks.  Mainly held every Tuesday evening online through “Zoom”.

This course is perfect for the new beekeeper thinking about getting into beekeeping as a hobby.  Also, for those who are in their first to second year of beekeeping who would like to get a better understanding of beekeeping or as a refresher.

Cost: $200 which will also provide you with a PEIBA membership to the association for the 2025 season.
