A Little Bit About Us

The Prince Edward Island Beekeepers Association consists of 9 board members.  President, Vice-President, Treasurer and Secretary form the Executive.  The remaining board members are directors.

We meet as regularly as possible to discuss industry news, standards, importation protocol, pollination expansion program, education and expansion, among other topics related to the honeybee industry.

We meet with stakeholders on a regular basis to ensure unity, strength and growth.  It is important to have a strong working board of directors to collaborate and bring positive change to beekeeping on Prince Edward Island.

We hold an Annual General Meeting each year and plan workshops around our business meeting.   We encourage all new and existing beekeepers on PEI to become a member of the PEIBA to help us become a stronger voice and accountability.  Being a member has it’s advantages.
